    I had to go to the wifi tether site and download and transfer to phone and instal same thing with tapatalk forum apk. . Barnacle works good. both on rooted X2.

    Welcome, I don't understand why it did not work stock, mine does. Also searching shows that it seems to be a ongoing thing with some phones.

    try *228, then My next suggestion is do a factory restore and that reprograms the phone to new. I don't have a problem with mine. i will keep checking some other forums and see what i can find.

    found this also. Easy fix. In Messaging, go to Settings. Under MMS, uncheck Auto-retrieve. No need to uninstall apps or install new ones. You just need to click "download" when you get an MMS message.

    Also do a *22891 that may help. They have a unlimited talk and text with 300 meg data for $55.00 just came out with it.

    Service is great, do you have the messaging turned off in settings mine works fine? also just activate on PPC no flashing needed.

    Same here if you are not using it to its potential, you want notice the difference, I have rooted with stock rom, heap change, and overclock. The phone is great, if you live in a fringe area, you may have weak signal,as the fascinate has a weak radio.
