Double tap now works all the time on my 3XL. I discovered that tapping quickly and very lightly works. If I tap the way I usually do everywhere else, it seldom works.

Mine wasn't consistent until I followed the suggestion of moving your finger all the way from top to bottom. Now it works every time. Thanks!

For me, the double tap problem is not related to smart lock. It happens anywhere. But I have a work-around. I just ignore double tap and tap once on the fingerprint sensor. This works every time. BTW the sensor works now that I have registered it for the third time.

Been using the Galaxy S3 since it came out. I reregistered it for the new P3XL. It works even better now - faster and more features. Still the only watch you can pay with everywhere, great screen, and the rotating bezel is very useful. I hope it lasts forever because there's nothing else...
