Wife went to Verizon about 6mos ago. Since then we've been comparing service while traveling. No comparison there, Verizon wins. Also it seems lately, even their 4G service in more & more places around Kansas City is getting slower. Don't even ask about their 3G service, which is still prevalent...

Yeah, I know. I paid an ETF 4 years ago to AT&T, ($40.00), to go to Sprint. Just grasping at straws.....

Going to bust a Sprint contract 10 months early to switch to Verizon in a few days. Anybody got any ideas on saving some of that ETF money so I don't have to pay all the $200.00? Service has been OK so I can't really use that excuse. Don't know what else is out there......

Anybody know how long this deal is good for?

Get your point, but the Nexus 4 is not a "carrier dependent" phone. It a Google phone that you can use on either AT&T or T-Mobile. The sim chip has nothing to do with G Wallet certification.

Same issue with the bars, but it doesn't seem to make that much difference in the way the phone responds. By the way, I've done 2 speed tests in 2 different areas since I've had mine for a week now. Both times with only 1 bar showing. 1375mbps (1st), 1393 (2nd) down. 875mbps (1st), 923 (2nd)...

Amazon will meet anybody's price as long as they can verify the price. I got them to meet Best Buy's price of $99.00 for an upgrade last week.

Hey guys, first post here. I believe Wallet is carrier dependent if they want it on the phone or not. I know Sprint & Verizon, there may be others, are doing their own version of a wallet type setup so they naturally want you to use theirs. Don't take this as scripture, but I'm pretty sure...

I had a good experience too on Friday. Went from AT&T to Sprint. Didn't even have to ask. He gave me a $125.00 credit at the end of 60 days, which covers my $90.00 ETF from AT&T. Waived my activation fee. Transferred all my numbers. This was from a Sprint corporate store.

Got mine yesterday too. But alas, no EVO yet! Oh, I guess I better get one....
