Having read the post by Bergerking... I helped a friend defeat the disabled ANT+ on his LG G4 by using App Backup and Restore, copied the ANT Radio Service and Plugin .apks, then Wi-Fi Directed the files to his phone, thereby allowing him to use the service, much to his satisfaction. Dunno why...
