Or search for someone with the same device as you, and, if they're kind enough, they may tell you if certain apps ar working for them or not.

It took me 1-3 hours on sunday night, ususally 3-4 hours and I can always find the app by the exact name.

I got the same error twice yesterday. It sometimes was a different error but as the op said on the second attempt it always worked. I'll try to clear the download manager cache and data as Diddy said.
