    Text Message From 9197

Old thread, but it's the only thing I'm finding about this specific issue. Yes I am a Sprint Customer. (T-Mobile now, but I was a Sprint customer when I bought to phone.) I am receiving EXACTLY the same message at about 2PM like clockwork since Monday. Today is day three of receiving this...

After Oreo update do not disturb create rule problem

I wasn't able to find anything about this. When I go to create a rule for do not disturb, the end time seems to be stuck on the next day and I can't get it off of the next day. This means that I can only set rules that span multiple days. All I wanted to do was create a rule to the to silence my...

Galaxy S8 Drop Test - Gorilla Glass 5 not too strong.

I will be particularly interested to see what LG does with their V30. Without a doubt, it's going to be a scaled up version of the G6. Edge to edge display, dual cameras, waterproof, etc. But will LG be gunning to keep next iteration of the V line MIL-STD-810G certified drop resistant? If they...

Galaxy S8 or wait for the Note 8

As always, this year's Note will copy all the good stuff from the Galaxy S line, while offering a larger form factor with better specs and an S-pen. Here's what I would expect to see: 6.6" Super-AMOLED infinity display with 4K resolution Snapdragon 835 same as the S8's. Dual rear-facing...

    LG V30 Leaks and Rumors

Re: Poll: LG V30 removable battery or not? I think we all know that when push comes to shove, LG is going to take the worse-than-expected sales of the V20 as a sign that marketing to folks who want IR blasters and removable batteries isn't improving their fortunes. They'll do what Samsung did...

    LG V30 Leaks and Rumors

Re: Poll: LG V30 removable battery or not? There are three versions of the LG G6. They S Korea version, the USA version and the everyone else version. The make dozens of sub-flagship models as well. Making two significantly different versions of the V30 wouldn't be that difficult and it would...

    LG V30 Leaks and Rumors

Re: Poll: LG V30 removable battery or not? If you want to walk soar among the eagles then you've got to make some bold moves. LG rarely makes bold moves. That's why their market share has been shrinking. It goes without saying that Samsung's name recognition will keep them miles in the lead...

    LG G6 pricing justifiable?

I've run into that number in the leaks as well, but past experience has me thinking that they'll ship 64GB or better versions to S Korea and China only. I'm still sitting on my ever-so-underwhelming 16GB Galaxy S5 -- and that one shipped to S Korea with 32GB. I still remember the leaks...

    S8 or Note 8?

Are we really sure they are shipping with 64GB? Is it going to be like last year and every other year where the leaks were pointing at S Korea and China only models? And if the S8+ really does have 64GB then the Note 8 will have at least 128GB, along with more bells and more whistles. The reason...

    LG G6 pricing justifiable?

Apple, Samsung, LG and HTC all overcharge and have done for years. They get away with it because they're sold in stores and sure to be carrier compatible. If you're a Sprint or Verizon customer and you buy a OnePlus 3T, it may or may not work. Within the framework of being one of the in-crowd...

Your general thoughts on service at Sprint?

Support has been pretty decent. I have no significant complaints. For me, being a Sprint customer comes down to a balance. They have the best unlimited plans for the lowest price ... but it surely would be nice to be able to buy whatever phone I want and just have it work on their network...

    LG V30 Leaks and Rumors

Re: Poll: LG V30 removable battery or not? To make it even more simple, I'm looking to replace my ancient SGS5. LG G6 and SGS8 both look too weak on specs. I'm not interested in waiting till the end of the year to see what the next Google Pixel looks like. That leaves the Note 8, the V30 and an...

    LG V30 Leaks and Rumors

Re: Poll: LG V30 removable battery or not? LG already has the manufacturing capability to make the V20. Making a scaled up version of the same thing wouldn't be all that hard. They're also already making the G6. Making a scaled up version of the same thing wouldn't be all that hard either. Phone...

    S8 or Note 8?

I expect we'll see the same thing as we've seen in past years with the Note line: Inherits all the good stuff from the S line, but with a bigger screen, larger form factor, better specs, a few added bells and whistles and an S-Pen. The S8+ is shipping with a 6.2" screen in the same form factor...

    S8 or Note 8?

Honestly, I'm holding out to see if SOMEBODY offers a truly awesome phone that is also Sprint compatible. The big four of Android (Samsung, LG, HTC, Google) are the only phones that are 100% sure-fire Sprint compatible. All of them habitually half-*** their specs. LG already did it again with...
