Did the update this morning. All is well so far. Just one question. I keep getting a notification in the notification bar asking to allow access to my Google account for many many apps and processes. 99% of which I have no idea what they are. Do I accept this? Anyone else have this pop up...

Just got the Atrix hd, I have my old music and what not on my sd card from my old phone. How can I make one of my old ring tones from my sd card my default ring. Can't seam to find a menu like on my old phone where it asks to set as...... Thanx for any input guys.

Ok , thanx guys. Finally got it to work. Literally had to touch the screen while swiping , didn't know you had to do that.

Anyone having a problem using the swipe motion to capture a screen shot ? I've checked in my settings and it is enabled. I can capture a screen shot with the traditional power button home button simultaneously pushed. I've tried swiping with different speeds , left to right , right to left ...

If you can't wait for it in an update , try "Display Brightness" in the play store. I've installed it , free , no ads and it's pretty simple and slick. It's transparent on your screen. You can adjust color , transparency , thickness of the bar and where you want to locate it on the screen.

I bought a TPU case for my S3 , would like a holster for out of pocket carrying. Does anyone know if either the Seidio Active or Surface spring clip will work with a TPU case ? I don't want the added bulk of one of their cases but would like to use a holster on occasion. Thanx all.

Wait on VLC to come out of beta. That should play everything like the desktop version I'm sure. The kinks will get worked out.

Yeah , I'm in the sticks about 20 miles outside Austin and pulled 27 down and 5 up last night. Coming from 3G captivate , I was so stoked , unreal !!! Faster than my satellite internet that I'm stuck with out here for crying out loud.

I though the Captivate was ahead of its time. This is the one that got the whole Galaxy thing going remember. I had mine almost two years and had not one issue with it , no complaints. I got my S3 two days ago and will now unlock my Captivate and sell it on Craig's list , which should be enough...

Truth of the matter is that they really have no clue. They are just puppets in all this being played by Samsung and ATT. My Best Buy said tuesday and will give me 15% off accessory purchase for the inconvenience.
