    Google Maps East-West Reversed

All: I just downloaded and installed Maps 5.6.0 from the Market and my first impression is that this fixed the problem. Thanks Google! :D

    Google Maps East-West Reversed

I'm really hoping it is a Google Maps issue and can just be fixed through an update to Maps in the Market. If we have to wait on Verizon and Motorola to sign off on an OTA update to the operating system we could be waiting for a while.

    Google Maps East-West Reversed

Just found a link to a discussion of this issue on the Google Help Forums stating that the engineers are aware of the issue: Orientation reversed in compass mode - Google Mobile Help Hopefully we get a fix soon!

    Google Maps East-West Reversed

I hope this issue has not fallen off the radar. I'm still having problems with this and I can't seem to find any acknowledgement from Verizon, Google, or Motorola that the problem exists or any idea of what they intend to do or when they intend to fix it. Anyone know something I don't about...

    Google Maps East-West Reversed

Is there any word out on a fix for this yet? What I can't believe is that this kind of bug ever got out the door. It's not some obscure subtle issue, it's a Droid X with vertigo! I know from the message chain it showed up in SOAK, but how did it ever get that far? Google OS and an incompatible...

    Contact Storage Question

    NetFlix

I just got the OTA of GB. I looked in the market for NetFlix but did not see it. Isn't it supposed to be available with GB? Thanks

[OFFICIAL] Droid X Gingerbread Impressions and Issues

Has the OTA started for the general population of Droid X users or are all of those posting here part of the SOAK?

    Tracking Droid X

AndroidGirlfriend: Sorry to hear about your missing Droid X and what I am about to say, I know, is "too little, too late", but I wanted to suggest using Lookout Premium in the future. I'm terrified of losing my Droid X and Lookout Premium provides me: Virus protection. Backup and restore of...

Skype - Can't Receive Calls on DX

OK, I stopped by the Verizon store this evening to try to resolve my issue with Skype Mobile on my DX. There was a long wait, so in the meantime I did some testing on the demo phones in the store. On the HTC Incredible and the Droid X demo phones I created two new Skype accounts. I was trying to...

Skype - Can't Receive Calls on DX

Some additional information for you consider: When I log into Skype on my PC with the same Skype account everything works fine. I can receive calls with no problem. On my DX, I can see the Skype status of my contacts and they can see mine so no problem there. I can send and receive Skype...

Skype - Can't Receive Calls on DX

For some reason I cannot receive Skype to Skype calls. I can call out, but my phone never rings when someone is trying to call me. In fact the caller never hears a ring either. Any ideas? Thanks if advance!!

    Dialer Favorites Question

In the Dialer Favorites tab I hit the green phone handset icon and a dialog box pops up with a list of that contact's numbers for me to choose. There is also a check box labeled "Remember this choice". You know where I'm going with this, don't you? How do I UNremember my selection? Has anyone...

    Installing Non-Market Apps

But if I purchase it non-Market will I still be able to receive future updates through the Market or will they have to be manually downloaded and installed also? Thanks

    Installing Non-Market Apps

I just received an email offer from DataViz for the full version of Docs To Go 3.0 for $9.99, but I would need to purchase it and download it from their site, not the Android Market. I've never done that before. I know there is a setting to allow the installation of non-Market apps from...
