I would not bet the farm on that. The Note 6 which will be released as the Note 7 will more than likely ship with Marshmallow. The Note 7 will not likely get android "N" until this time next year. "N" is still technically in beta. AT&T is not known to deploy new phones with beta versions.

Update on the wife's S6. The install went off without a hitch. The download part was slow. I attribute that to overloaded servers. Once the download was finished the install happened fairly quickly. Now time to run it through the wringer to see how it works.

AT&T has released MM for the Galaxy S6 today. Being installed on my wife's phone now.
