I came from the LG G4. before that I had a HTC one (m7?) and before that an Iphone 4s. HTC U11 is the best so far in every way. (all other phones I enjoyed at the time)

I have a case and no front screen protection. No issues at all. It is glass and can break so a case is essential.

Not sure what that is on the iphone 7, but cant see any potrait mode, there are a few selfie modes

Yes I got black purely because most of my phones were black before. I have a case so only see the black bezels on the front, so colour isnt a major issue for me. Out of the case look it does look slick.

Love love love the sound. And the battery life is so good I only charge once while asleep so don't need a 3.5mm Jack as listening and charging is not needed. No jack , TBH I never even noticed it was missing :)

Personally, I don't buy the phone for how it looks. I weigh up screen , cpu, battery, sound etc. How it looks to me is irrelevant as I only tend to look mainly at the screen.

Just tried and no issues. I was listening to music via the Amazon app. Just a thought, are you listening from internal memory or SD card? On my old phone it skipped a lot, I had a crappy sd card. I use internal for music now, although I bought a better SD card for this phone.

Battery optimisation is kicking in now. I havent had to charge at all even after heavey use. Saturday is my lowest usuage day and had 50% left when I went to bed. Well impressed
