Does this mean that nobody has successfully and truly rooted a Verizon S5? I think I need a new phone.

There has to be a malfunction here, even if it's only in my brain. I don't think they made a 16g S5, so it's probably actually 32... but why does AirDroid do that? Please help me to fix my phone? :-) Thanks

I used this method DroidViews Root Verizon Galaxy S3 (SCH-I535) on Android 4.3 VRUCML1 and it worked flawlessly, Seems to have much simpler instructions for us newbs.

I probably shouldn't have allowed the 4.3 update. It was mainly to stop the annoying notification. I refllashed back to stock recovery and took the OTA update, then rerooted. I hate the new google maps / navigation app. Are there any newer custom ROMs which allow the old google nav? Or...

Hmmm I have a Droid 2 with Android 2.2 and after I installed "Dialer2" Dialer2 - Android when I touch the onscreen phone button it gives the option for original dialer or "Dialer2" with a checkbox to make default. This can't be done with aTAKEphONE?
