It is not necessarily a virus. it might be a recent app you downloaded is opening those pages. If you know a recent app you installed, uninstall it and see if it occurs again.

in android 2.3.6 they have fixed the voice search issue. Most important features of he android 4.01 are Facial recognition, Better voice recognition , allows up to 16 tabs, Updated launcher. so it depends on the features you are interested in ;)

you can try disabling it and see if anything goes wrong. if yes, enable it and if not, you are fine! :)
