There's a few. If you want to know, take your phone apart and look. I don't think anyone is going to help you replace them.

Here 'ya go. The light blinks much faster (every second or so) when Voice Recording, it blinks every 5-10 seconds when you have a notification or message.

Wanted blue, wimped out and got grey. Will probably get a blue or green case when more (better) ones are out.

It sounds like you received a defective unit. Mine does run warm, but it definitely doesn't have the same issues yours does. I would return it for another one.
