Ironically that's the only thing I DON'T care about. Other than using the camera for times of convenience (showing something rather than describing it ) I don't use the camera on phones. I'm not a go out and take pictures of trees kinda guy. hmmm

that doesn't sound right at all. Can you please post some screen shots of the battery section in the settings menu? With the screen on time opened? It's really early to call it but if what you're saying is true your phone is defective.
