Was doing a check on something else and thought I'd check on the Lollipop update (figured nothing would show as usual) and was surprised to see it had arrived and is installing right now. :) I'm in Florida.

Have you tried a different launcher? I use the Nova Launcher (the app is at the Google play store) It seems like it will let you delete some things. I use Firefox there with no problems. Just an idea, hope it helps.

Well, it's been a while since I've updated the status of my 2012, it seems to be doing better...after I dropped it :confused: I had it in the bathroom and it slipped out of my hand and hit the floor, it wasn't a far drop, but enough to make me worry. It's in a Cruzerlite cover so I'm sure it...

The repair didn't last long, today was worse than before. It would actually click on games and start playing them then it switched to the settings, bringing up apps; it was all going really fast and nothing would stop it. The screen kept getting bigger and smaller all the while it kept changing...

I've noticed lately that my original N7 had developed it's own brain...if I'm playing games it will start making moves by itself and blocks me from making any, also sometimes it will enlarge the screen so it's unplayable. There have been times it would not let me clear apps or even let me log...

Thanks for the information :). I don't use my phone that much, just for emergencies or seeing if my mom needs something if I'm out shopping. I found some on Amazon for the Valet and they seem to have a lot of good reviews and don't like to use the phone without a screen protector, I've seen too...

I'm a total Potterhead so had to make my screen show it ;) I like to keep it simple with the Nova Launcher and DCikonZ icons.

Finally got the KitKat update, I don't notice that much difference (except the notifiers are white and not blue anymore, liked the blue better). I didn't even have to reactivate my Nova Launcher, everything stayed the same after the update.:D
