    Thanks - but NFC has always been disabled on my Nexus 4 Today the false notifications seem to have stopped of their own accord - fingers crossed it will remain like that

    That's correct I get regular notification sounds but nothing appears on status bar or in notification list I've turned off all notifications for my apps

    Tried Addon Detector but when I run a scan and check Addons > Push notifications I see No Applications with addons

    Hi For the past few days my nexus 4 has been giving false notifications approx every 5 mins I've turned off notifications for all apps but still the notification sounds keep coming Does anyone know why this is?
