Re: Droid Turbo 2 Turbo 2 has large bezels, large footprint (for a 5.4") and generally not very attractive to look at compared to the X Pure. Battery yes. Carrier lock, bloatware, no.

So Verizon is about to sell its version of Moto X Play for $384 (and undoubtedly glued to Verizon). What catches my eye is the X Play / Maxx 2 battery is rated on GSMArena to be about 32% longer endurance than Pure: 83h vs 63h. Aside from that Pure compares very favorably. Thoughts?

Re: Moto Maker? A few years ago I had a phone with a leather back and it looked raggy after about a year. I'm sure moto is using better quality leather than that but for me I just can't shake the image.

My SIM seems to "loosen" in the slot occasionally--once every 2 or 3 months. I just press on SIM slot (next to the power button) with my fingernail and its fine.
