OP here. I went back to the iphone 5. Just couldn't handle the lag. The screen was nice, but I jailbroke my iPhone and now the only downside to iPhone is the screen real estate.

Pretty sure group text is an Android feature, right? If so the Note should get it as well, eventually.

Yeah, I agree it's technically fair for them to charge it due to costs incurred. However, when the competition (Best Buy) has no such fee, it just makes them look bad. I'll pay it and consider it a cheap lesson learned: don't buy from the ATT store.

I've done all these (turned off S voice, animations to 0, all air view and hand gesture sensors off). Unfortunately, still not as fast as iPhone 5. There is tangible lag still. I bet a vanilla android root would fly though.

Sorry guys, but there's no way to get lockscreen apps on this phone if you use any of the secure unlock features (only unsecured). Android can do it, it's just Touchwiz that can't. Not sure if Samsung did it on purpose or what...
