Now even though the bionic trumps the charge in almost all aspects, we can't forget that the charge is considered an old phone by now (released over 3 months ago) . It is also available for free now from amazon, which is definitely a huge plus in today's economy.

You can delete your old backups and just backup everything you have now. Or, upon rooting and flashing, you could just restore some apps and not all of them. Personally I find its easier to just delete the old backups and do a batch backup. After rooting, do a batch restore :)

I actually moved almost all of my apps to my sd card. Haven't really noticed any change in performance either.

I kinda wish SGSII would just be named "Samsung Galaxy SII" across all carriers. Most people get confused by all the different names of android phones...but everybody recognizes "iphone." Having a common name for such an internationally popular phone could boost sales and improve name recognition.

Have you tried using a task killer such as Advanced Task Killer? Might help with the app issues as well as the phone resets. If you had to get another 4g LTE phone, I'd recommend the Bolt over the Revo, as the Revo feels less comfortable in hand. It's also bing-ed, which isn't really a problem...

I would recommend the Charge as well; easily obtainable for less than 200 if you buy from a 3rd party such as amazon, costco, etc. If you don't want the Charge, then I would definitely go for the D3. Good build quality; physical keyboard without adding excessive bulk, and dual core, obviously...
