    Fitbit support under android 4.4 / moto x ?

It syncs fine. However, it does not appear to pair under Bluetooth. To count as a trusted device (which would allow the device to stay unlocked as long as it's paired), it would have to stay paired. Sorta like people say the Pebble does. Too bad, because I always have the Force on, and it would...

    Fitbit support under android 4.4 / moto x ?

Yeah, it's nice to have syncing finally. But it would be perfect if it was an always-paired device to make it trusted. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem like an option.

Frustrated and Waiting on the Nexus 5

Active notifications are by far my favorite feature of this phone (and the one that makes other people most jealous). Touchless control is cool and comes in handy sometimes, but I don't use it a lot.

For those of us working in an environment that blocks FB, any details on what you linked here?

    Drive assist

I've been confused about this too. The phone clearly shows it's in driving mode. But the couple texts I received did not get the automatic replies (I verified I had that option selected), and I didn't get any audio notification. I'm not sure if it's because my phone is paired to my car through BT?

    Initial impressions

I like those ideas. Would like to see the options for Skip expanded and configurable. You can do a lot with NFC (and I'm hoping to get some tags and start experimenting), but Motorola could get ahead of the game by building in some greater usability so people don't have to figure it out themselves.

windy day ..augmented reality app by motorola for moto x

I just watched it. It's adorable! So cute. :) Check your notifications, and you'll see the little hat drifting around. Click it and make sure your volume is up. It's just a video really, that you follow by moving your phone around to see everything. Really cute and wonderfully animated. Here's...

    Accessories for Moto X

I got the 16 GB phone and picked up the Meenova as well. Picked up a 32 GB microSD card pretty cheap when Sony was doing 60% off recently. Astro is a decent free app that reads the USB (under Storage and a folder called 10.1.1.1 or something). Seems to work fine for storing music or images!

Amazon price matched Moto X for $59.99

Just talked to their customer service for this, and I was connected to a real person in 20 seconds, and the whole conversation took under a minute. They couldn't be nicer. Even said he was glad I was able to take advantage of the $40 refund. Thanks for posting this! This helps soothe the sting...

Do you need a 1080p display in your smartphone?

I found this article on lifehacker interesting and timely, since I just upgraded to the Moto X despite all the press about its lower-res display: Do I Really Need a 1080p Display on My Smartphone?

    Price Cut?

AT&T gives you the option of keeping your current plan or changing (to their shared data plans). So you should be able to keep your plan with no changes, even with Amazon. I had that option anyway.

    Price Cut?

I was waiting for the same reason - wanted a customized 32 GB phone on AT&T. Finally just bought mine through Amazon. It connects to your AT&T account and set up your wireless plan. Yes, it's only black or white and 16 GB, but I think I'm going to be fine with that, and I really like the black...

    Well I did want one..

That's the problem with doing your homework when buying a new phone (I've been doing the same thing lately) - all you read are the tech-focused people who want the latest/best/spec-heaviest device out there. Instead, if you read reviews, you'll see that most of them are very positive, citing the...

    Moto X or HTC One

I strongly considered the HTC One mostly because of how much everyone was praising it as the best phone ever. But this is the big deciding factor to me - the size of the Moto X feels right, and the HTC One doesn't. Also, that HTC One ticker thing reminds me of everything I hate about Windows...
