I second this. The pentile matrix also killed it for me. Yes, I notice it.

I wish I could disable LTE. I'm at the edge of the LTE service area at work and the radio is constantly straining to stay connected to it rather than just staying on HSPA +. So needless to say, my battery life has been decent but nowhere near what it could be if I had a better signal.

I tend to go back and forth between the two platforms.

I loved the RGB samoled plus on the Galaxy S2 but the burn in and overall sub pixel lifespan is what decided SLCD was better for my needs.

Hard wired is not possible. The ps3 doesn't have USB drivers for the evo's hardware other than seeing it as a USB drive for multimedia files.

I couldn't agree more. Pentile is unacceptable in my eye (no pun intended) to those who have perfect vision up close. I found it very distracting on my Samsung focus and even my Atrix with the qHD display.

Probably wouldn't hurt to give it a try. One reason I chose this over waiting for the galaxy s3 was for the LCD. I hate the pentile matrix and I was always paranoid of amoled burn in. The HOX screen is gorgeous other than the little bit of light bleed from that area.

Those are the LEDs that make up the backlight. Mine looks similar just not as pronounced. I have to be looking down from the top to really see it.

Tap and hold is the key. Tap and hold the icons to move them. Press home to pull up all of your home screens then tap.and.hold to remove them just like you do widgets.
