Update: the RMA phone was sent today, ETA is Wednesday!

Battery could be better, but otherwise the phone is great! Called the play store today and indeed, the batch of RMAs mine is in (yes apparently that is a thing) hasn't arrived in google's warehouses yet...they were blaming LG!

Ok, it's been a little over a week now and the yellow spots don't look any better (unlike what some people predicted with the "glue drying"). Also, still no sign of Google having sent out the RMA replacement despite having assured me it wouldn't take longer than a week...going to call them tomorrow!

I'm in Quebec City Canada (my shipment actually came out of nowhere on Friday, but since I wasn't expecting it I missed it so got it today instead). I just got off the phone with the play store and they are going to send me a replacement. I have 21 days to return this phone. AND YES THEY SHOW...

Mine just arrived after a long wait... ...and there are 2 ugly yellow marks about the size of fingerprints at the bottom of the screen (pixel discoloration mostly visible on lighter color background). I SWEAR I HAVE THE WORST LUCK EVER!

Called google to inquire about the yellow box of death after 5days...they said my phone was already in UPS' possession! So, I called UPS and they say google still hasn't shipped them a package... What do?

Am I the only one here still with a yellow box of death?

I'm from the east cost and still have a yellow box of death as of the new year...was really hoping to get it on time to take advantage of the 50GB free cloud storage offer, but oh well :(
