AT&T N910A Marshmallow Update Out Now

Well, I threw caution to the wind and did it. I do have a couple of backup phones if it's a disaster. The result: no problems at all. It's hard to even tell that I even upgraded the OS. So far this is what I have found is new: WiFi Calling (most obvious because of a pop-up message about it)...

AT&T N910A Marshmallow Update Out Now

Mine just downloaded, but as much as I've been wanting this, I'm hesitant to try it before I hear about other people's experiences. The 5.0.1 update hosed my phone for about 9 months while I waited for 5.1.1

Did AT&T forget about Marshmallow on the Note 4?

I have heard that One+ is looking not so good on their commitment to updates. Moto was pretty good with my Moto G 1st gen; I don't know if they are any better or worse now. Google is good with their Nexus updates, they promise 2 years of updates. Meanwhile, Samsung and AT&T will be happy to sell...

Did AT&T forget about Marshmallow on the Note 4?

After 9 months of a barely usable 5.0.1 I think Samsung and AT&T owe us a solid version of marshmallow. That said, this is exactly why I will never buy another Samsung phone. I'll either go Nexus, One+, Moto, or Apple for my next phone.

    marshmallow?

Ding! Ding! Ding! I am on AT&T. I waited about 9 months for Samsung and AT&T to release 5.1.1 to replace the broken 5.0.1. During that time my phone was barely usable. Now I'm waiting again for the latest. I don't think I'll get another AT&T/Samsung phone again.

    marshmallow?

My Tab A 8 is installing Marshmallow right now. It's sad that my $150 WiFi tablet is getting it when my $800 Note 4 isn't yet.

The 2015 Nexus phones are the best ones ever and strong upgrade from the Nexus 6 that was edged out by the Note 4 in every category. I wan tone so I can ditch the Samsungness of my Note 4.

Is anyone else keeping the note 4 as a backup phone?

I've had my Note 4 four 8 months and it will be my primary for probably another two years, at least. It's powerful enough to do anything I need and I don't see that changing for a long time. I also have the accessories to last that long. I have three batteries, an external battery charger, a...

    Galaxy Note 4 5.1.1 ATT

I had 13GB+ available when I got it to work. A week later the update is working great for me. This is the phone I bought 8 months ago. My wife is happy that I am swearing at my phone much less often. If that hadn't improved she was going to make me get an iPhone. I think the battery life has...

    Galaxy Note 4 5.1.1 ATT

Well, I got it to work on the third try last night. After reading everyone's stories I made sure I had 13GB free and didn't touch it while it updated. I accidentally hit the power button the first time, resulting in a "install interrupted" error at 3%. The second time I tried to reinsert my SIM...

I loved CM when I had it on my GS3, but the phone sucked. I'd love to have the latest CM on an awesome piece of hardware like the 1+1. It'll also be great for Ingress.

Help Me!!!! Moto G 110 degrees!

I had overheating problems with my GS3 last summer. I would go outside for an hour of Ingress. That's walking around in the direct sun, running data, gps, and the display the whole time. I recorded temperatures up to 117?f. It would be almost too hot to touch and I would have to take it inside...
