    Got the EVO

Actually, if you saw the video he posted, with all the tats on his hands and wrists, the Sprint Police could pick this guy up inside of five minutes. He was already in hot water. No doubt he had the device, but he was too CS to give us the goods. Everyone needs to chill and wait until next...

    Got the EVO

Panzy, you are awesome! Here's my wishlist of questions and a breakdown of some already asked: 1.) How much RAM, ROM, and internal memory storage? 2.) What is the FCC ID beneath the battery? 3.) Could you please take several photos USING the EVO 4G's 8mp camera, with and without flash, still...

Does the HTC Desk Clock App also work in landscape mode or only in portrait?

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

Actually, you never saw past the homescreens, camera app, QIK app, and a few others. Sprint was forbidding anyone who touched it to delve too deep into the OS because it was unfinished and any tinkering might have scrambled the test phone. What will/can change? A few OS tweaks here and there...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

I wouldn't worry. Sprint stated it was developing its own NFL app which has all the potential of being even better than then official one since Sprint won't have to do whatever the NFL mafia tells it to. In addition, Sprint picked up ESPN TV in conjunction with Sprint TV, so there's a good...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

Click on these links for the HTC EVO 4G's dock and holster images. These were taken from CTIA but rarely seen or photographed by any media agency. The design and colorations may change in the next two months, but you can definitely see the micro-USB and mini-HDMI plugs on the dock. There is no...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

I determined several months ago, when I first heard about the HTC Supersonic, that I would get a spare battery the day I picked up the device itself. That's my new policy. No hesitation. I would rather carry a spare battery than have a phone, mp3 player, camera, and so forth taking up pocket...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

Exactly my point. Even Sprint doesn't officially say what type of 4.3" screen it is. The homescreen aspect can be turned off, but not Sense UI in its entirety, not on the HTC Desire and not on the EVO 4G. Sense is way too ingrained into the OS to be able to remove it without wiping and rooting...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

I could almost buy that explanation except I don't know anyone who purposely angles their phone in the daylight in such a way as to make it completely unreadable. I use my phone indoors primarily, and the vivid colors and battery life-saving aspect of AMOLED would have truly benefitted the EVO...

Ask us about the Sprint Evo 4G

1.) Why no AMOLED? For a multimedia powerhouse, why implement top-of-the-line everything else and take a step backwards with TFT LCD? Did the OEM not make 4.3" AMOLEDs? Also, is 65K colors the limitation of TFT LCD, or can this be increased with a software tweak? Viewing HD content is nearly...
