I had the S8 for 3 days and just got my S8+ today and at first blush, I'm thinking I liked the S8 better. I'm coming from an S7 edge which I loved the size of. I'm not sure yet but definitely glad I can give both a real road test.

I had the same issue yesterday and had to call 611 to get the request submitted around the auto web validation checks which is not yet loaded for the s8s

I'm not using a case. It is too nicer looking to cover it up. I have a SView and LED case for when necessary but 99% of time is not in a case.

I ended up trading in my unlocked s7 edge silver for the Olympic one and it is superb. The staff at Best Buy asked if I would open it so they could see it in person and they also all seemed to think the combo of colours and the blackout blacks was very nice looking. For the same price as normal...

I also was able to return mine to my local best buy with no restocking fee and got to keep the Gear Fit 2. Today was the 15th day but the computer gave the guy no issues with the return, but he indicated that might be because I had bought it outright and not tied to a contract or phone line.

I just returned mine to Best Buy directly. They waived all fees and let me keep the Gear Fit 2 with no questions asked. They said they had seen a few come back today.

The potential plus for the Verizon version is that it's s7 counterpart was flashable to the unlocked version when it came out. I'm hoping the danger is true of the Note 7

Since when is there a restocking fee on devices at BBY? Does it apply to unlocked and outright devices too? I only buy those and have returned and exchanged a number of them those year and never been even hinted at a restocking fee

No it does not - only sync to Samsung. Evernote sync seems to still be on the old SNote app, but not the new one.
