All the phones in the OP afaik, assuming 'worldwide' = Tmobile/AT&T in the US. Unlocked Sammy S7/8, LG G6, MotoG5+ [all @Best Buy] and the Pixel. IDK why their insurance would cover a phone you bought elsewhere.

Right I figure they can't stop anyone from doing that. I guess what's unclear to me is "devices they support". When I enter the imei # for my unlocked S7 their website says I can bring it. But they won't do that for the Moto G5+?

What's the story with Verizon's BYOD policy these days? Can you bring any compatible phone to them? Does it depend on your plan?

Alienated and soon to be former HTC customer here. As an advocate of underdogs who doesn't like having the same phone as half the people in the wild, this is pretty frustrating. With the GS7 being pretty great and now unlocked [and fully compatible on T-Mobile with Band 12?] it's looking like...

With HTC's Customer Service proven to be trash and their marketing full of lies, bring it on. When is this sucker getting released?

I'm sure this is a dumb question but where do those of you off contract buy your Samsungs? I'm on the T-mobile prepaid and there just doesn't seem to be an easy way to get one. Amazon never has the version that's fully compatible. Best Buy & Tmobile won't sell it to a prepaid customer...

I've been juggling a Nexus 4 and 2013 Moto G; awaiting a ~5" 1080p phone with good battery life to replace them both. So after the disappointing leaks of the LG Nexus battery, it's either this or '15 Moto G. Any leaks on pricing yet?

That about sums up this fail of a year for me too. If the Xperia Z5 comes up small this week I'm just going to grab a Moto G and be done with it.

Does it really matter? It's a self-selecting sample anyway. Anyone who says 5.5"+ screens are the devil isn't buying one.
