I'm having the same issue and my phone was up to date. I'm installing an update now and will try it again but I've been having the same issue for a few weeks. It DID NOT happen in the beginning.

Don't factory reset. I did and it did nothing except waste my time.

Similar problems, bluetooth connects/disconnects/connects/repeat! only during phone call in BMW 535. Stream music with no problem. Try to make a phone call, won't stay connected for 10 straight seconds. Have completed factory reset, unpairing and repairing device, etc. Nothing works...
