Yup -- after buying a galaxy tab in Jan. 2013 and accidentally letting the battery get too low, mine also wouldn't turn on. Just kept showing the battery charging symbol for days. Shipped it to Samsung, as it was still under warranty, they "fixed it" and shipped it back. Worked fine for months...
