Just scanned a photo and it saved to storage emulated but not in gallery where common sense says it might be more helpful. I've tried finding this mythical land with ES File Explorer to no avail. As you can possibly sense, my sarcasm is kicking in to try and block out the anger and frustration...

I still don't get the Add to Desktop option. I have a couple of apk's in there, one of which is in Sideload launcher, so I know they are downloaded because it opens from there.

Was going to buy one for use with my Nvidia Shield tablet. On googling I noticed more results for Bluetooth rather than wireless. Is one more reliable than the other? Any advice welcome.

Just tried with same one then a different one. Long press, save image, but it saves to downloads not gallery.

Thought you solved it for a moment, Javier. I long pressed and chose the option Share>Save to but then it said action not supported. Saved as .jpeg

Just DL two images from google on my phone. They are in DL folder but they don't show in gallery. Tried astro FM and ES FM but the pictures don't exist in DL file according to them. A google search shows this has never been simplified since day one. Any ideas plz? Btw, long pressing the images...

Thanks vidjunky. I appreciate no device can be perfect but surely asking for a trouble-free browser isn't too much to ask. I admit I haven't used an ipad before but I don't recall browsing being mentioned as an issue by friends.
