I use Dolphin HD. It works great for just about everything, though I do wish it was a little easier to manage bookmarks. I've tried Chrome Beta (I'm on ICS). obviously the integration with my desktop Chrome favorites is great, but the lack of flash support makes it a no-go.

I use GO SMS for messaging and have found that when this starts happening, it means I have too many messages saved. I go through and delete a bunch, restart the app, and it goes back to working fine. Don't know if this would fix the issue in the stock messaging app, if that's what you're using.

Ha, okay figured out it was the Firefox browser that was the problem. I'm not crazy about the stock browser though. Are any of the other browsers (Opera, Dolphin, etc.) flash compatible?

I have a stock A500 with the 3.2 OTA. It has flash 11 installed as system app. I have never been able to get it to work. I can't uninstall it. It will only let me uninstall the updates, which I've tried (no help). What do I need to do to get flash working on this thing?

I don't use bluetooth to tether. I have a HTC Inspire rooted with CM7, and just turn it into a wifi hotspot. CM7 seeems to be one of the only ROMs that turns off the carrier lock on this feature.
