Anyone have any experience with purchasing the M8 from Amazon? Is there any pros/cons from purchasing and how is the return and exchange policy from these two sources?

There are several variants that have 32gb but I don't think they have the correct bands for AT&T LTE. That brings up another question, anyone know the difference between AT&T's HSPA+ network vs the LTE?

Are you guys referring to the phone turning on to the active display black screen or the lock screen? Just got my Moto x last week and my active display screen comes on from time to time without any notification and thought it was normal...

You would need to download an app from the play store to get double tap to lock to work. The app is called Knock Lock.

Got a replacement after finding a dent on my first M8. So I noticed that on my second M8, the power button is almost flush. Got my unlocked version on Thursday. The one I had did not have a loose volume rocker but it had a ding next to the depth sensor. Returned it and now waiting for the replacement.
