Is anyone getting a lot of camera crashes on 8.1?

I just checked for update and it finally came thru! Pixel 2 non XL. Will report back once completed.

I've also read that there were issues with bootloops for some users like N4Newbie posted above so I'm hoping that Google is trying to resolve that before pushing it to my phone. I'm anxious for VOLTE!

I am beginning to think that you are correct in that it's a Verizon only update. Only time will tell as google release OS updates across the board. I still worry if Verizon is actually handling OS updates then how will it make it the the Verizon device if no Verizon sim is installed.

You can install the update with the inactive Verizon sim in the phone like I did. Then once it's finished swap out for another. It's definitely not ideal but at least it works for now.

Im going through the same thing with mine. Im going to have to side load the OTA each time it seems. I've got a Verizon unit purchased from BB and using it on ATT.

My phone had no Verizon apps installed. It's also unlocked out the box. I put my att sim in and it's working great.

I received the same email this morning. I have canceled my order.

My chromecast was delivered today also. Still no update on the phone though.
