    Verizon global vs LTE/CDMA

Global allows for roaming on GSM networks. I was on Verizon for about a month and had it on LTE\CDMA and the phone prompted me to switch to Global for better service. Come to find out, the LTE\CDMA coverage was spotty in that area so the phone was using GSM.

    First Impressions

I switched from a 9+ to the Note 9 and really like it so far. I originally went from a Note 8 to the 9+ because the 9+ felt better in the hand and I didn't use the S Pen enough. The Note 9 feels a little better than the 9+ due to the flatter design. Even though the hardware is similar, the Note...

    S9+ or Note 8?

I switched from the Note 8 to the 9+. I did not use the s pen and the 9+ just felt better in my hand, plus the stereo speakers are pretty awesome.

    Backup for Galaxy S9+

I use a combination of different apps. Google photos for photos and videos. FolderSync Pro for files, documents, etc. It allows scheduling and backup to Google drive, Onedrive, or to the sd card. Sms Backup+ to backup text messages to gmail. Allows me to search gmail for old text messages...

    Upgrade to S9?

I have the S9 and the S9+ and both are great. The S9+ does have a bit better battery life and is slightly quicker. Some of the advantages over the other brands of phones IMO, screen quality, water resistance, stereo speakers, wireless charging, and the SD card slot. The cameras are awesome also...

Switch from the S9 Plus to the regular S9

I am in the process of the switch myself. I went from a regular S8 to the S9+ and I just ordered a regular S9. I missed the size of the S8. I will probably keep the S9+ and use it when the dual camera is needed.

Is The Note Too Big For Active Lifestyle/Outdoor Activities?

This is the reason I kept my regular S8 when I got the Note 8. Well I am 99% sure that I can use my Note 8 anywhere I go, there are times when I am more comfortable with my regular S8.

How do I make my expensive Note 8 do what my much cheaper Windows phone did right out of the box?

I love having the smart watch. I mainly use it for notifications and controlling music that is playing on my phone. I'm not sure about separate notification tones by contact. I leave the watch on vibrate. You could probably do it with Tasker, but I'm not sure how. I use Tasker, but only for...

How do I make my expensive Note 8 do what my much cheaper Windows phone did right out of the box?

I am in IT also and did look for something like this long ago, but ended up getting a Samsung Gear S3 smart watch. Although, seeing your post interested me, so I searched and found an app in the Play Store called ReaditToMe. I have not tried it, but it looks like it may do what you are looking...

    S8 to Note

I just switched from an S8 (regular) to the Note 8. It took me 4 weeks and multiple trips to Best Buy in AT&T to decide on the Note 8. 80% of the time that I held the Note 8, I thought it was too big. The last trip I made to AT&T, I decided to make the jump. So far, I love it! I use one hand for...

    Themes Change Non-Display Settings?

Hmm... I have used many different themes and have never seen that. I will have to keep an eye out for that. I don't want any themes changing ring tones or alerts.
