Are you talking about the screen that comes up when you have it on the charging dock? How much different is it? I can't stand how it does not fully go off, and how the LED light on the side blinks all night as well.

I did do it myself. I wouldn't say it made a huge difference in phone speed, but did free up space and get all the stupid icons and stuff out of the way. Got a free tethering application and well as an ad blocker. If you can figure out what to do, you are smart enough to do it. If not, please...

Good question. It should be reported to them, even though it is not a big deal so it can be fixed on the phones next update. What is a hard reset? My phone has been slower than normal today and I think I may need a fresh reboot of it. Does it remove anything from the phone?

It did do it to me! As soon as it came out of the cradle, and went to normal, the date was correct. Interesting bug. Hopefully it get fixed!

To be honest, I am not sure about 3G service. I have not really had any issue yet except MMS not sending, but that seems to be an issue with Verizon and Android phones from my reading about it.

I work in a waste water treatment plant, and I have not lost a signal yet anywhere in the plant. Some of the buildings go about 25 feet below ground and have a lot of water on top of them. Still works down there!
