What works for me is to say the punctuation immediately after the word I want it to follow. There's no pause or break in my voice.

For as little as I use the phone for email, the Remove Account option does the trick. Thanks, all, for your help.

When I do that, the only two options are Sync Now or Remove Account.... not a Sign-out option.

I do not use my phone for email. But today I was waiting for an extremely important email while I was away from my desktop PC. So, I figured out how to add my Yahoo account to the Samsung Message app, then logged in and waited for the email to arrive. All day long the phone's been beeping...
