I am a new Note 5 owner and love the phone, but I have been experiencing a lot of wifi/ Lte signal issues, I live in the woods but my old iphone 5 connected with no issues. I am getting close to my 2 weeks trial period and have been contemplating an iphone 6s plus.

We have a Verizon home network extender and my Note 5 wouldn't connect to it until i disabled the advanced calling feature, just in case someone is having the same issue.

Verizon did a system/account/signal reset and its working like a charm now, I noticed it was much faster now (don't know if I am imagining but it feels like it) love it so far. Also, the UAG is simply an amazing case :) thanks to all that recommended it.

Thanks, yeah, I am not too worried about it, discovered today why I can't connect to our network extender (verizon have week signal by where we live) I had to switch off HD calling feature, then it connected to the extender with no problems. Love the phone so far.

I might have spoke too soon, it could be just me and lack of experience with Android, but boy had a very rough day with my one day old Note 5, from refusing to stay connected to my car to lost signal and couldn't make any calls until I restarted the phone twice, first restart didn't fix problem...

Funny you say that robonik, I bought my Note 5 also thinking if I don't like it I have 14 days to decide, but wow, what a beast of a phone, can't believe what I was missing with my iphone 5, I also agree (although this is my first fingerprint device) the fingerprint works great, I have 4 fingers...

Don't know if this is relevant here since I don't have my Note 5 yet, but I saw some reviewer on you tube setting the screen animation effect to a number lower than the default, I think it was like 5 if I remember correctly, the setting was in the developer mode menu which he had to unable it...

Nice, the Note 5 I bought is the black, Verizon only have either black or gold, I saw few pictures of ash with black and it looked great.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it, I already bought one in Ash ready for my Note 5 when it arrives tomorrow but wanted some real users experience, UAG saved my iphone 5 for almost 4 years with not a single issue, I also bought a JETech screen protector for the screen, my job is a bit rough on phones...

Did you have a case on it or no?

Any drop test on the actual Note 5 being protected by this bumper? all I found is iphones drop tests?

I am switching from an almost 4 year old Verizon iphone 5 to a Note 5 "64GB", the lack of removable battery and SD card doesn't bother me personally since I never had either of these features. I have to say I was very impressed and almost got the LG v10, love the second small screen, the Note 5...

Nice, did you buy a case and screen protector for it? I bought a UAG in Ash for when I get the phone on Monday, also one of the Amazon tempered screen protectors
