Well, Virgin Mobile isn't really known for having the best costumer service, and I was dumb enough not to buy insurance. And since the phone is so old, they probably wont give me one. I'll just use this as an excuse to switch companies and to buy a better more up to date phone, like the HTC one...

No there are no custom roms Yes I have tried two SD cards and nothing has worked I'm on Virgin Mobile USA The back cover? Like where the battery and stuff are? If so, no. I only remove the removable part, which is the little bottom peace where the SD card is.

I have dropped it, but only once and that was way back when I first bought it. And I've never had the phone without a case, so it's pretty secure.
