Mike I think this screen you had is very similar to my problem ."It freezes the screen until you tap the power button. It prevents face unlock or tap from unlocking the screen". How did you solve it.

I have rechecked this order of settings .The screen still remains and locks phone . Is there a way i could delete the process running this screen. How to find the process or isolate the app running this screen.

No I never installed Plex in fact never heard of it. Isnt there any app through which i can disable this screen.

Mustang thnx for the reply but iv already checked ,it not accidental T.Protection.That has a different screen and a slider. This screen remains on as long as phone not used and its not AOD but some other annoying process. The clock and padlock keeps floating on screen in random positions.
