    Solved: AT&T MMS issues

This is what fixed it for me. It was posted in CrackBerry, and I'm surprised that it isn't more well-known. Open your phone dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* A window titled "Testing" will appear. Click on "Phone Information" Scroll down to where it says "SMSC" and hit "Refresh" You might have to...

Initial Impressions of the Hub from an Android User

I only use the Hub for my e-mails. The Hub was a critical part of BB10 and it was a joy to use on my Q10. Now I don't see the point other than if I want to quickly find a text conversation or phone call without diving into their dedicated applications. I am hoping that BlackBerry will add more...

Looking at the Priv or another android device coming from iPhone for work.

I think that if you enjoyed your experience on BB10 and Android, you will love the Priv. It brings in the best from BB10 and combines it with Android's unbeatable application support. As long as you aren't a heavy Snapchat user like me, battery life will be great. Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

    PKB trackpad toggle?

Go to Settings > Language and Input > Physical Keyboard > Turn off Gestures. It is important to note however that this sacrifices all gestures in the keyboard, so you won't be able to use it to scroll through the homescreen or apps. If anyone knows how to disable the cursor for text only and...

New Priv owners, what phone(s) were you using before?

I was using a Q10. The Priv feels huge in comparison!

The Priv may get me to switch. Can someone provide me with the pros and cons?

Re: the priv may get me to switch I have been a BlackBerry user since 2009, so I am as new to Android as you would be. Here are a few things that I have noticed on the Priv, good and not-so-good. -The keyboard takes some getting used to. I have been using a BlackBerry keyboard for six years...

    Any signal strength issues here?

I've had zero issues with signal strength or battery. The phone does get a little warm occasionally though, but I think this could be fixed in a future update. Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

    ordered the new blackberry.

There is a lot of speculation but we can't be sure until BlackBerry releases any numbers. Also, I agree that the phone gets warm. I'm hoping it will get fixed in a future update. Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

priv popular here in the pub

My friend uses an iPhone 5s and she was in shock when I showed her my new Priv. She loved how sleek it looked and how you couldn't even tell that it was a slider. She said that she will upgrade to one when Verizon gets them. Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

Thoughts on a passport running android?

I don't think I can buy anything other than a slider ever again. It's just such a cool design and it's so fun to use. Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

    Selfie Cam

This problem is blowing up over in the CrackBerry forums right now. It seems to happen when the phone's front facing camera is being heavily used with apps like Snapchat. The phone gets warm and the green overlays appear (primarily in low-light conditions). I experienced the problem today. Do...

    Priv v S6 v Edge

I had someone confuse my Priv with th S6 Edge the other day. I slid out the keyboard and he immediately knew it was another BlackBerry! Posted via the BlackBerry Venice

This thing has really grown on me.....

I seem to be the opposite to most people here on the Android Central forums. I've been a BlackBerry user since 2009, so this is my first Android experience. I am elated that BlackBerry has started using Android. The combination of Android and BlackBerry's hardware is out of this world. Posted...

My first couple of days with my first ever Blackberry device

I'm surprised that the store near you was all sold out! The stores near me are the same though. They were sold out the day after I got my Priv, so I'm glad I acted fast. I hope you enjoy your first experience with a BlackBerry. I have been a BlackBerry user since 2009, so I'm still trying to...
