Great so far. I went from a Galaxy Alpha to the S8, and believe me, I do not regret it one bit! Quite the opposite, as a matter of fact.

I use Dock Clock, which I set to activate when power is connected (i.e., as soon as I set the phone on the charger). That eliminates the lock screen problem. BTW, I use the adjustable Tmvl T3 charger. I like it a lot. Posted via the Android Central App

9:15pm and I'm still at 65% after another day of normal use (including a bit of time on a wireless charger mid-afternoon). No heat issues. I don't know what I did, but I can live with this (though battery life is still down somewhat from before the update). Maybe it was all those notification...

That'll definitely help in general, but from my experience, location is not culprit in Lollipop. I had mine on power-saving both before and after the update, so that doesn't account for my battery drain. Having a good battery day today. 8:30pm and I'm still at 70% after a normal day. Posted...
