Just got an update to 10.4.2.18 tonight...

While the general speed of the phone seems as good or better, when I play Zynga's "Scramble with Friends" game, which worked fine before, now it's as if the phone can't keep up with my word selections and starts to drag (notably in the audio when you score words). It doesn't make the game...

After seeing this thread last week, I went onto the Asus site and requested one. It was delivered a few minutes ago...

At least for me, 90% of the times when my phone needs to access my contacts (such as opening a text message, going into the phone dialer, browsing contacts), the phone sits there for 15-120 seconds doing nothing, then finally does what you've asked it to do.

That seemed to have fixed it for me. I was starting to think it was something to do with contacts, and not my text messages (only about 1000 messages). Ive left FB sync off for now, probably not needed.
