I bought my captivate September. It is unrooted.. and it would periodically shut down on its own. I was in hopes the 2.2 upgrade would fix it and the GPS problems. After the 2.2 upgrade the phone has definitely gotten worse... the GPS is basically unusable... the shut down seems to happen after...
