I did misplace mine just yesterday. Got about 3 miles away before the Note 9 gave me the "missing S-Pen" beep. Fortunately I just left it on my desk at work and it was pretty obvious when I went back for it.

I have confirmed that older S Pens I have (1 from my Note 3 and a spare Note 5 one I found) both work with the Note 9 screen. However, it may be better with S Pens from newer models as the pressure sensititivity was upgraded in later models.

Good to know. Since you reminded me I did just check Bixby settings on my Note 9 and surprisingly the option to disable the Bixby button is not there at this time. I use Bixby so it is not a big deal for me, but I can see that might cause concern for others.

I'll post some test results from my 128 with A1 SD bench as soon as I can. I suspect the Note 9 128 will be faster than the S9 plus, but I also suspect the Note 9 512 will be significantly faster for file reads and writes.

I actually understand it in this regard, this is just Zack being consistent. If he wasn't doing the same things for each device other people would complain that he was playing favorites or not "fully testing" each device.
