Thanks. Glad it was quick. I have put a screen protector on it to hold me over but it actually looks worse as the screen is not flush anymore so the cracks show thru worse. I hate to send mine in and pay more than the purchase price although that did include trade ins.

I just cracked my screen and apparently nobody has the parts to fix the S8 tablet yet. I've called Best buy and all the local dealers and nobody has the parts yet. Only place I can send it to is Samsung. They told me 12 days and no less than $219. Ouch. Any suggestions? I may just have to wait...

I only reregistered my right hand thumb print to see if there was a difference and I'm not seeing that it's much better. It could just be the learning process of shifting from a real fingerprint reader. It's still frustrating at this moment.

It's extremely irritating. It's almost so bad I would want to return it for just that one reason. I could have my finger on my S9+ as I was pulling it out of my pocket and it's unlocked before I even have it out of my pocket. Now I have to look at it, place my finger just right and hope it works...

I do have a fast charger but I have fast charging turned off like the picture above. I only use fast charging when needed.

I have had mine for a couple days. One thing that is frustrating me coming from the S9+ is having the volume on the right side. I always hold my phone in my left hand. I'm trying to find a floating control or app the can give me a virtual control.

This happens to me to. If I leave the messaging app open on the last person who text me, it will never give me an audible notification if they text again.

There is an option for dark mode under Settings then General.
