Biggest reason to go with 21 plus vs 21 is the battery life. S21 battery life is absolutely atrocious

This is an extremely condescending comment. Most of us on here know how to use a smartphone, we certainly know how to use earbuds and the concept behind them. All that being said. I will seco d the OP findings that these absolutely lack the bass even woth bass boost setting through wearables app.

It has the same pathetic implementation like on s10 /s10 plus which is under the screen and it just doesn't work well. Same goes for the ambient sensor. I just absolutely hate the way Samsung is obsessed with eliminating bezelz at the cost of usability

Regular s20 for sure. Cant do big phones anymore. S20 plus is bigger than the already big s10 plus.

This is wildly incorrect. You can use a regular sms or whatever else you like for that matter.

iMessage can be disabled in settings and you can you use the ancient sms protocoll all day long.

Try Telegram, the guy who created it was also the person who created WA but he is hanging on ti telegram unlike WA which he sold to FB. Also, Telegram is much more secure hence why its banned in Russia because FSB cant get w backdoor access to it.
