    HTC M9 overheating problems anyone??

Tell me about it, I just went in and T-Mobile are sending me a new one to see if that is the issue, but whichever one I keep I will be rooting so I can disable those battery sucking vampires. I will try turning off the enhanced LTE 4G and see how that works too.. Thanks!

    HTC M9 overheating problems anyone??

I know this is a month old now, but have you made any progress in keeping this thing cool? I am running GSAM right now and it is up to 108F and I haven't been using it, it was just in my pocket. I just installed GSAM so I do not have much background information on what apps are draining power...

[Guide] Rooting the Nexus S 4G (Windows Version)

Re: [Root] Rooting the Nexus S 4G (Windows Version) BTW this OP worked great, I did the manual method and it was rooted in no time. However in my experience doing this, as Step 13 wipes the SD Card, it makes Step 16 moot as there is no file in the SD card, or maybe I put it the SU in the the...

[Guide] Rooting the Nexus S 4G (Windows Version)

In my limited experience, when I have had issues with the phone being seen by the PC, I have found though I have had USB Debugging selected in settings, it isn't for some reason in debugging mode, so I have found it helps to uncheck USB debugging and then recheck it.

    [ROM] JRO03R - Stock 4.1.1 - Rooted, Deodexed [Updated 09/23/2012]

So I installed your ROM, worked great, then installed Air Kernel from here: AIR Kernel for GNex and NS Kernel !!: Air Kernel Weekly #224 for NS-JBN. However I might have installed the wrong one and now when I power up after the GOOGLE on the screen where I should be getting the JB bootup screen...

Hi all, I am PT from MN but hail from the Cayman Islands originally. So now I have routed it...

Thanks, I will look into that, not sure what it does but if it can clean out some of the crap that will be really nice! It is amazing what the phone companies can pile into a phone! Edit: Did you use Titanium Backup Pro? I see a Freeze function which might work instead of deleting a file that...

what should I do with it?? I would like to do WiFi tethering on it as my company will not let me install the USB Drivers for the phone on my laptop and I would like to be able to tether it and not spend loads of dosh on pay wireless hotspots. Are there any custom ROMS for it? What changes...

    Hey Everyone!

Hi all, am new to Android coming from more of an embedded MS OS background in the days of CE and XPe. Don't have much of a Linux background though I am fooling around with Ubuntu on a VM. Looking to learn more about what I can and cannot do with Android devices. I have an entry level Android (it...
