    Thank you. I'll share with the senders. How about handling on my end? Would a different messaging app be able to automatically download and unpack the MMS items?

    AT&T HTC One M8 Marshmallow. I'm frequently missing group messages as well as some long messages because they 1) appear as MMS and 2) don't download automatically. If I click to download, the messages then appear in the individual sender's conversation. Is there a way to get this to happen...

    I'm sorry, but forgot to say I disabled Vibration Feedback for calls in Settings | Sound.

    Android 4.1.1 with AT&T Messages installed. I've tried disabling vibrate in 1) AT&T Messages and 2) Android Messages. Can't find anything useful Android Settings 1) Sound or 2) Keyboard. Thanks!

    gingerbread update

    Probably speaking too soon, but (as of today) I like the GB revision. Touchscreen is working much better in car caddy. This whole experience has me rethinking both Samsung and AT&T, but mostly Samsung. ICS on a better supported phone will be next for me.
