I don't recall ever wiping the cache partition on my Nexus 4, but each time I've done it on my Nexus 5 it's taken anywhere between 3 to 5 minutes, I'd say. I assumed that was the norm.

Are you talking about the core Google apps, or are you referring to 3rd party apps? You may want to check to see if the apps that aren't working have been updated/optimized for running on Android 6.0, yet? Look at each apps page in the Play Store to see when the latest update was pushed out...

That's how it happens on my Nexus 4. I'm not sure which music program(s) you're using but when I'm streaming Google Music or Pandora the music lowers (not pauses) when the navigation voice comes on.

It's amazing how simply installing a new skin overlay can bring so much life back to a phone. Can anyone tell me how to remove the two Home Manager notifications (Home Manager & Quick Switcher) that stay up in my notification bar? Is it possible to remove them?

I'm guessing you'd have to use the Sprint ID feature to get a similar effect of HTC's multiple Scenes option. It's possible that some of the other 3rd part launchers allow this, as well, but I don't use any of them so I don't know.

I just received the new Market layout today on my Motorola Photon. I didn't ever try clearing the cache or anything. I was a bit surprised because I wasn't even expecting the new layout.
