    I have this problem too. Dead pixels... The only time I see these dead pixels is when the screen is black.

    Why does Android say Kitkat is out for Nexus 7 devices and not give us the OTA. I really don't understand... Google says it's available, but we have to sideload the new OS ourselves? Is this just a poor execution of software?

    Hey Rowan, I purchased a Nexus 7 to replace my beloved Playbook. This Nexus 7 tablet is amazing, the screen is amazingly vivid, the 2 Gb RAM makes this tablet run so smoothly. This tablet has become my go to tablet and am loving this Nexus 7. Absolutely no issues with my tablet.

    Greetings preppystud, So you went to the Settings options > Display > and shut off the Pulse Notification light correct? Have you tried rebooting your Nexus 7 tablet to see if that made a difference? Thinking maybe like a computer, it just needs a bit of a restart to correct any anomalies or...
