    I've noticed that when I get a notification it doesn't appear on my locked screen. I actually have to unlock my phone to see it. Irritating. Ugh!

    I did thefactory reset but not the cache partition. Don't know what or where that is.

    I agree. I try to turn off what I can to preserve battery life but without taking away all the good features of the GNote5.

    Does anyone else keep Location turned on? I find it very helpful in locating news, restaurants etc. In my area but want to know does it drain your battery?

    After a couple of days, mine has improved. I did do a Factory reset though.

    Yes that was an option. I was asked did I want to restore my settings back to a earlier time. I selected yes and selected yesterday.

    No I didn't use smart switch. I was asked if I wanted to restore my settings back from a earlier time, I said yes and for restoring settings back i chose yesterday, signed into Google and my apps started downloading and my settings were restored.

    Just did the factory reset. Piece of cake! No issues at all. All my apps are back place. 😊
